Three people dead after two vehicle collision near Norwich

Oxford OPP continue to investigate a two-vehicle collision on Friday that has resulted in the loss of three lives.

First responders arrived on the scene on Mall Road between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line, near Norwich in Oxford County, at 4 p.m.

An SUV and a pick-up truck collided.

Both SUV passengers, ages 77 and 60, respectively, were taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries and were pronounced deceased. The 75-year-old SUV driver was airlifted to a London Hospital and later pronounced deceased.

All three were from Princeton.

A pickup truck driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the cause of the collision remains under investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
