No injuries were reported but a residence in the town of Fullerton was heavily damaged from an explosion and structure fire, Perth OPP said this morning.
Emergency crews responded to Perth Road 163 in West Perth on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
OPP said the fire was quickly extinguished, but the residence was heavily damaged from the explosion. The residence was empty at the time and no one was injured.
The cause if not deemed to be suspicious in nature.
OPP provided assistance holding the scene while the Ontario Fire Marshals conducted their investigation into the cause.
The scene has been released back to the property owners.
There is no risk to public safety.
