Bulldozer fire deemed suspicious

A fire in Huron County is under investigation.

The OPP says the blaze caused between $90,000 and $100,000 in damage to a Caterpillar bulldozer.

Police say just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night officers along with the Zurich Fire Department responded to the scene at a construction site on Bronson Line.

Witnesses saw a single cab pickup truck leaving the area around the site at the time of the fire.

The cause has not been determined but it is believed to be suspicious.

If you have any information about this fire you’re asked to call the Huron County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 524-8314 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
