Here For Now Theatre announces line-up for first Winter Season

After a hot summer run, the Here For Now Theatre has announced new shows for winter.

The theatre said three shows will take place throughout November and December.

Here For Now Artistic Associate and Marketing Director Siobhan O’Malley said this comes following a successful summer in the new permanent location on St. Andrew Street.
“We sold to 92 percent capacity this season which exceeded our expectations.”
The theatre ran multiple plays including Stick Around, Humour Me, The Rules of Playing Risk, Apples in Winter, and Forget About Tomorrow.
O’Malley said the new season opener is Pandora, a metaphysical comedy written by Stratford Festival star Jessica B. Hill.
“It’s a re-imagining of the myth of Pandora set in modern times where Pandora is a quantum physicist, grappling with all the chaos in the world and the hope that we need to get through it.”
Pandora runs Nov. 5-15, followed by Reproduktion, a Amy Rutherford dark comedy centered on a couple desperate to have a baby, leading them to an alternative fertility clinic in Sweden. It runs Nov. 20-30.
The final show is Ruby and the Reindeer. A child named Ruby finds a grouchy, pregnant reindeer in her family’s barn in 1989 Perth County.
Ruby and the Reindeer runs Dec. 10-24.
O’Malley said the highest ticket price is $32.50. Tickets are available here.
