Dig in folks: Burger raffle to raise funds for United Way Perth-Huron

You can support United Way Perth-Huron by eating burgers.

Called the Ultimate Burger Raffle, it encourages residents to go to their local restaurants to buy featured burgers throughout the month of November.

United Way said for every burger sold, two dollars goes directly to supporting programs and services that help the most vulnerable in the community.

Participating restaurants include Mercer Kitchen, Foster’s Inn, Demetre’s Family Eatery, Gilly’s Pubhouse in Stratford and St. Marys, 53 North at the Stratford Country Club, Best Western Arden Park Hotel, Bentley’s, and Eddington’s and the Honest Llama in Exeter.

Along with supporting those in need, you can also vote for your favourite burger, with the restaurants competing for the most burgers sold and people’s choice.
