25 businesses looking for new hires at downtown job fair

It’s a chance to meet with employers face-to-face and hand deliver your resume.

Downtown Stratford Business Improvement Area’s Job Fair on March 30 will see 25 businesses at city hall auditorium.

They will be looking for part-time, full-time, seasonal, and permanent employees.

BIA GM Jamie Pritchard said it will make it easier for job seekers and employers to connect.

“One of the most important things any business can do is hiring the right people, and it can be a time-consuming effort,” said Pritchard.

“Resumes come in a few at a time over a period of months, and this way they can take a look at the CV, meet the person, and get ready for next steps.”

The drop-in event runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
