Central Huron worried about losing bus route

The Municipality of Central Huron is worried about the loss of a bus route between Owen Sound and London.

The municipality has sent the issue, which comes after a passenger rail link to Stratford was shut down, to the Huron County transportation committee.

Council member Jim Ginn says he’s heard from rural residents who used the bus to get to medical appointments in London.

Ginn also says he doubts resolutions from the municipality will persuade Queen’s Park to get involved.
