OPP cruiser in collision

An OPP cruiser was involved in a collision yesterday morning.

It happened at approximately 10:30am in the Guelph-Eramosa Township.

A fully marked Wellington County OPP vehicle was heading south bound on County Road 44 just south of Highway 7 when the driver lost control and rolled into the west ditch.

The officer was taken to a local hospital then released without injuries.

There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.

The investigation continues.
