A popular local market is raising funds for seniors programs.
Woodland Towers and Hamlet Estates and Spruce Lodge Long Term Care host their Spring Market & One Stop Shop on Saturday.
Karen Goforth, volunteer coordinator, said up to 25 vendors are booked and will offer something for most shoppers ahead of Mother’s Day weekend.
There is a silent auction, penny sale, and admission by donation will support resident activity programs, socials and entertainment.
“We like to keep our residents busy and having fun,” Goforth said.
The market runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
