Community invited to Friendship Centre Choir’s final concert of the season

The Pyramid Recreation Centre is the venue for an end of season concert.

Friendship Centre Choir’s final performance is May 27 at 6:30 p.m., and they hope the community will join them.

Musical director Lanny Hoare leads a choir of 27 “enthusiastic older adults”, who build community through song.

Hoare said in a media release that the choir is about more than singing.

“It’s about connection, confidence, and the joy that comes from creating something together. We’re proud of how far we’ve come this season and look forward to sharing our music with the community.”

The group are welcoming new members and encourages anyone interested in joining to reach out to the Friendship Centre at 519‑284‑3272.

Proceeds from the concert support the Friendship Centre and its choir program.

Tickets are $12 and pre‑registration is required at the Town of St. Marys website or by calling 519‑284‑3272.
