Two male drivers who were spinning their tires on a Friday night in North Perth are charged with stunt driving.
A police officer observed a large plume of smoke on Perth Road 169, near Perth Line 84, at 8:40 p.m. on May 8.
After investigating what was believed to be a vehicle collision, the officer observed spinning tires from two vehicles on the roadway, creating excessive smoke and noise.
The drivers were charged a week later. Vehicles have been impounded for 14 days and licenses suspended for 30 days.
Charges will be addressed in Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on June 23.
