Do you know the signs of a stroke and how to respond?
Huron Perth District Stroke Program will provide free screening and information about stroke awareness at a community health fair at Stratford General Hospital on Monday from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Participants can also learn what to do during a stroke, and how to understand personal health risk factors.
Program manager of the Huron Perth District Stroke Program and Stratford Dialysis Unit, Joanna Smorhay, said participants can get their blood pressure checked and learn about stroke treatments.
Guests can also learn about diabetes and community programs.
The fair, part of Stroke Awareness Month, is being held in education rooms A and B at the hospital.
