Kinsmen Car Show returning to Lakeside Drive

It’s one of the more popular fundraising events for a club that endevours to give back to their community.

Classic car lovers will gather at Lower Queen’s Park for the Kinsmen Club of Stratford car show on June 14 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Kinsmen Club member Trevor Exner says car enthusiasts, whether they are entering a car or just stopping by to have a look, love the venue, near the Festival Theatre and the Avon River.

“We are going to have different car clubs this year, too, so it’s going to be a great show.”

Entry is at Queen Street and Lakeside Drive and there is a $10 admission for car entries to cover the cost of putting the show on and to help raise money for Kinsmen Club.

Exner says he doesn’t have a particular favourite vehicle.

“I just enjoy them all.”

The club is organizing another car show, same location, same time on Sept. 6, and a motorcycle show on Sept. 13 on Lakeside Drive, also from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations can be made online or in person.
