‘A shared commitment to Stratford’s future’: SEED Co. AGM reflects on highlights

It was a year of expansion, entrepreneurship and regional collaboration.

That’s how Stratford Economic Enterprise Development Corporation (SEED Co) described 2025 in its 12th Annual General Meeting on Thursday.

Held at the Stratford Festival, the meeting reflected on the highlights of last year.

In a media release, SEED Co said Stratford Perth Centre for Business supported the launch of 43 new businesses, assisted 48 existing businesses, and helped create more than 123 jobs for the community.

The corporation said more than $120,000 was invested to entrepreneurs through provincial business programs, and major  industrial investments were made by employers like Aisin Canada, CleanFix, Magest, TriMach, Accumetal, and Trillium Hatchery.

SEED Co Board President Trevor McNeil said this progress is a direct result of strong partnerships and a shared
commitment to Stratford’s future.
