Three bands are set to perform this summer in support of a local museum.
Stratford Perth Museum is the venue for its Summer Concert Series, featuring Diamond Mine and the Bannerman Brothers on June 27, The Almost Hip on July 17, and Lemon Bucket Orkestra on July 19.
Museum managing director Kelly Thompson said a portion of ticket sales go to key parts of their operation.
“Where we really need support on our budget line, especially this year, is towards our exhibit development and our speaker series, particularly on the We’ve Been Here: Black History Project.”
She said with upcoming exhibits such as Sharing an Adventure and the 200-year anniversary of the Treaty signings, the concerts will help develop educational events.
Tickets to Diamond Mine and the Bannerman Brothers are $30. The Almost Hip tickets are $20 and the Lemond Bucket Orkestra are priced at $50.
Details on the performers can be found here.
