Return of local photo contest in St. Marys

You could leave a mark in the St. Marys Museum by taking part in a photo contest.

The Town has announced the return of Picture St. Marys: Past and Present, where residents and visitors recreate a photo from the museum’s collection as accurately or as creatively as they wish.

The submitted photos will be uploaded onto the Museum’s Facebook page as part of an album, and will be voted on until the end of Stonetown Heritage Festival on July 25.

Officials said whoever gets the highest likes and votes will win $100 in St. Marys Money gift certificates.

They add to enter the contest, you should send your recreated photo to museum@town.stmarys.on.ca along with the “Local Identifier” number listed with the original photo.

Submissions opened on Canada Day, and will close on July 20.
