Spider senses will be tingling at this SPL escape room

Stratford Public Library is the venue for a Spider-Man escape room.

The library says Peter Parker needs help saving the city of Stratford from multiple villains in an escape adventure that runs Wednesday to Friday from 2:15 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Groups of five work together to solve clues and stop the villains, and officials say you don’t need to be a Spider-Man or Marvel Universe expert to solve the clues.

“I do try to make it as accessible as possible because we do get a lot of families doing this together,” Teen Services Librarian Brooke Windsor told MyStratfordNow.

The scenario will include infiltrating a lab to find information for Spider-Man in order to save the city, with the room having a few nods to members of the Sinister Six, a group filled with some of Spidey’s most memorable villains.

Windsor added you’ll hear different audio cues depending on if you escaped or not.

The library encourages families to play together, however, the youngest player must be at least nine-years-old and group members up to age 12 are permitted, with an adult present for the 30-minute time slots.

Windsor said there is still time available to book a spot for your group.

You can register at the Stratford Public Library website.
