Stratford police say they found a person in medical distress with the assistance of drone technology and it ultimately saved the person’s life.
Police received a missing person report Sunday at 10:30 p.m. and officers started searching for the Perth South resident.
Shortly after 11 a.m., a large heat signature in a cornfield was discovered by a drone.
Officers were led to the area by the drone pilot and the missing person was taken to Stratford General Hospital for medical care.
