Third screening of Dancing On the Elephant added for next week

Stratford Film Festival has added an additional screening of Dancing On the Elephant.

The comedy drama, featuring veteran actors Sheila McCarthy and Mary Walsh, will screen at the city hall auditorium on Wednesday (July 22) at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Both screenings are sold out.

Tickets are still available for the third screening, also Wednesday, beginning at 9 p.m.

The show is an adaptation of Lisa Hagen’s dramedy and follows Nora (McCarthy) and her unlikely friendship with Edna (Walsh) at Shady Rest Retirement Home.

Festival Director Megan Smith-Harris said no one gets through life without change, and the movie is funny and honest about that.
