Organizers are bringing changes to the Stratford 5K Run/Walk for its fifth anniversary.
The popular event returns Oct. 4 to Upper Queens Park, with proceeds going to the Local Community Food Centre.
Organizers Rachel Ruffridge and Dan Rajagopalan said the city will provide shuttle services, taking them from the bus terminal to the park.
“It’s a good problem to have at the moment because, after year four, we noticed the parking lot overflow,” Rajagopalan told MyStratfordNow.
The run/walk will also include a commemorative coin, given to those who have participated each year.
You can still register at the 5K Run/Walk website.
