An incident early on Sunday in Embro is being investigated by the province’s Special Investigations Unit.
The SIU said in a media release that Oxford OPP received a call shortly before 4:40 a.m. for assistance from emergency medical services.
A person was in medical distress, the SIU said.
The SIU said police interacted with the individual, who was transported to hospital for treatment.
OPP notified the SIU, which invoked its mandate.
