New sidewalks in St. Marys will improve safety and improve connectivity.
Officials say an installation on Glass Street adds an extra 220 metres from the existing sidewalk terminus at Guest Court to Junction Station Dog Park.
A sidewalk has been installed on Thames Road to create a connection between the Grand Trunk Trail and Queen Street West.
Infrastructure Manager Austin Louwagie said while both projects are small in scale, they have a meaningful impact on how residents move in the community.
Both projects are part of an ongoing effort by the town to improve infrastructure and service.
