Doc on AI to be screened tonight at Falstaff Family Centre

A documentary on artificial intelligence and its effects on students will be showcased tonight in Stratford.

Screenagers: Generation A.I. is scheduled to be screened for free at the Falstaff Family Centre.

Falstaff director Loreena McKennitt told MyStratfordNow there’s been a lot of reflection about technology in children’s hands.

“We’ve seen a lot of harms done to them, and I think now in this new A.I. era there’s a whole other level to contend with.”

McKennitt said the documentary is part of the Screenagers film series focusing on some of the positive and harmful sides of technology.

She added the goal of the series is to allow parents, youth, teachers and educators to hold a discussion on these issues.

The screening begins at 6:30 p.m.
