Arctic weather chills the region

The stubborn polar vortex has settled over our region and refuses to budge.

Local residents will hunker down for another day of bone-numbing temperatures.

The wind chill will lash the area today and tomorrow.

We could see wind gusts for up to 80 km/h Friday afternoon.

If people need a place to go to get warm, the Stratford Public Library will be open from 10:00am to 9:00pm.

The Festival Marketplace Shopping Centre will also be open until 9:00pm this evening for people to beat the cold.
