Operation: Christmas Child shoebox pickup in Stratford Saturday

It may be the Thanksgiving long weekend, but it’s not too early to think about Christmas.

The Operation: Christmas Child shoebox program here in Stratford is starting this weekend.

Julie Bolger is one of the local organizers of the drive.

She says the program’s scope is sizable:

If you’d like to fill a shoebox for a child this year you can pick one up from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Community of Christ Church on Forman Avenue on Saturday.
