Peter Maranger won’t be seeking the federal Conservative nomination for Perth-Wellington after all.
The Stratford businessman filed his nomination package on time; however he didn’t meet a six month party membership requirement.
A waiver for that condition wasn’t given.
Mitchell’s John Nater and Stratford’s Ken Steven are still in the race to replace retiring MP Gary Schellenberger.
