The future of the former FRAM site is beginning to take shape.
Perth County will be building their new EMS headquarters on a portion of the property on Douro Street.
Linda Rockwood is the Director of Emergency Services for Perth County.
She says it’s taken awhile to find a suitable spot:

Rockwood says the decision to build in that spot is almost a matter of “right place, right time”:

A reported price of $535,000 has been worked out with Hyde Construction, the current owners of the property.
Construction on the new EMS headquarters isn’t expected to begin until next year.
