Stratford’s Black Swan Brewing Co. opens its doors today

Stratford’s new craft brewery opens its doors this afternoon.

Black Swan Brewing Company will be selling beer for the first time from its on-site retail store.

Co-owner Ryan Stokes tells us what inspired him to open the brewery:

He says brewing is a passion:

Stokes says there are a few differences between craft and industrial-scale beer:

Their products have been available in local restaurants and bars for a few weeks.

According to Stokes they’ve gotten a warm reception:

Black Swan, located at 144 Downie Street, will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
