A former Perth South couple is facing murder charges.
36-year-old Christopher Fattore and his common-law wife 33-year-old Melissa Merritt appeared in a Halifax court today.
They each face first-degree murder charges connected to the deaths of Merritt’s ex-husband in 2013 and her ex-husband’s mother in 2010.
They’ll be kept in custody in Halifax until they’re returned to Ontario on Friday.
