OPP called after suspicious man spotted near St. Marys school

The OPP is investigating after a suspicious man was spotted near a school in St. Marys.

Officers were called Thursday morning to Holy Name of Mary.

Police say during recess a man appeared to be watching students on the school yard.

The man left immediately as a staff member approached him.

He’s described as white, about 5’10” tall, clean shaven and in his mid-20’s.

He was wearing blue jeans, a black coat and sweater and a blue toque with yellow stripes and may have been driving a blue PT Cruiser-like vehicle.

If you know anything about this man you’re asked to call the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 as they’d like to know what he was doing.
