Brian Macdonald has passed away.
The director and choreographer’s long and illustrious career included stints at the Stratford Festival and the National Ballet of Canada.
He was also a Companion of the Order of Canada.
The Stratford Festival is dedicating next year’s production of Carousel to Macdonald’s memory.
It’ll hold a memorial at the Festival Theatre on May 3rd as well.
Macdonald died in Stratford on Saturday.
He was 86-years-old.
