The Canadian Cancer Society got a big boost today, thanks to ice cream.
This morning Scoopers in Stratford handed $5,000 to the organization.
The money was raised this past summer when Scoopers committed to donating one day’s worth of sales.
It’ll go towards clinical trials.
Clinical trials are research studies that involve patients aimed at discovering new ways to treat, prevent and diagnose cancer.
