Two men have been charged following a fraud investigation.
The Perth County OPP says the pair sold steel roofs to residents in Arthur and Kincardine.
They were supposed to be have been made and guaranteed by a reputable Canadian steel roofing company.
But that turned out to be untrue.
When the homeowners tried to get warranty documentation and repairs they discovered there was no coverage because the sales had been fraudulent.
A 40-year-old from French River and a 58-year-old from Burlington are facing fraud and forgery charges.
