Crash turns out to have happy ending

A crash in Perth County turned out to have a happy ending.

The OPP says they were called to the scene on Perth Line 26 near Harmony Saturday afternoon.

A minivan had slid off the road and ended up in a deep embankment.

Inside the van were four senior citizens from Ajax and two dogs.

A joint effort between police, the Perth East Fire Department and the Perth County EMS got everyone out safely.

No one was hurt and after the van was determined to be in good working condition everyone went on their way.
