Eileen Rose Bart, age 85, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on January 9, 2015. She was born in Stratford, daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Smith. Eileen worked at FAG Bearings for 35 years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Eileen loved playing euchre, puzzles, knitting, crocheting and was an avid fan of The Young and The Restless. Beloved wife of the late Neil John Bart who predeceased her November 19, 2011. Loving mother of Linda Bart, Richard Bart (Nanette Reano), Marlene Gratton (Jose Bento), Ronald Bart (Cheryl), Randall Bart (Kelly). Grandmother of Chad, Ryan and Mikala Bart, Andrea Gratton, Eric Gratton, Nathan and Kaitlin Bart. Great grandmother of Haylie, Owen, Landon and Carter. Also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Ken Smith (Loretta) and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by brothers Lorne Smith (Mary) and Arthur Smith (Eileen). Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, January 13, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 8 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 50 Well Street, Stratford on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Fr. Dick Bester – Celebrant. Interment in Avondale Cemetery.
