This year’s recipients of the Stratford Perth Community Foundation’s grants have been announced.
The organizations getting grants include Gallery Stratford, Romeo Public School, the Stratford Perth Humane Society, the House of Blessing, the Stratford Public Library and the Stratford Youth Centre.
The House of Blessing’s grant is going towards a new freezer and the library is getting a new Public Library on Wheels van.
The Youth Centre will be doing repairs to its kitchen and common room area.
The Gallery will use the cash for a new art program for English as Second Language students.
Romeo Public is building a new community playground and the Humane Society’s grant is going towards the Animal Welfare Centre in Stratford.
In total the Stratford Perth Community Foundation is giving out more than $115,000 to initiatives in our area.
