Crash involving snowmobile and minivan leads to charge

There were no major injuries following a crash involving a minivan and a snowmobile.

The Perth County OPP says the snowmobile hit the back corner of the van Tuesday morning.

It was trying to cross Perth Line 55 east of Monkton.

The 65-year-old Perth East man driving the snowmobile was charged with failing to yield and had minor injuries.

The OPP is reminding snowmobilers and drivers to be extra careful at crossings.

The high snowbanks could block your view of traffic.
