Pettapiece pleased that ice storm relief finally on its way

Perth-Wellington’s MPP is happy ice storm relief is finally being delivered.

But he’s still being critical of the way applications were handled.

Randy Pettapiece calls the government’s application process “onerous, to say the least”.

He believes there was “no good reason” for the process to have taken so long, with the storms having happened in 2013.

The province recently announced that Mapleton will be one of the first communities to get assistance, worth just over $23,000.
