Stratford Police busy overnight

The Stratford Police were kept busy overnight.

Officers conducted a RIDE program last night.

They stopped approximately 500 motor vehicles over a five hour period.

Officers noticed a male in one of the vehicles they knew was bound by a probation order not to be in the City of Stratford.

He was arrested and taken into custody.

In a separate incident while on general patrol, officers noticed a man they knew was breaching his probation.

When officers tried to talk to him he bolted through backyards on Douro Street.

After a brief foot chase he was arrested and charged.
