Teens risk lives on thin ice

The OPP says some teens were tempting fate on thin ice.

Officers in Listowel were called to the Elma Street West Bridge over the weekend.

Five youths were found and were warned to stay away from the ice.

The OPP says it gets lots of calls like this from all over Perth County this time of the year.

The warmer weather makes for dangerously unstable ice and high, fast moving water.

You’re urged to talk to your children about ice safety.
