SPL to launch ‘iPads for Kids’ on Wednesday

The Stratford Public Library will take another step forward this week in the world of 21st century technology.

The library will host ‘iPads for Kids’ this Wednesday.

The special iPad launch party begins at 6:30pm.

Library staff have tested the software and are ready to share the best of the best applications (apps) for children ages 12 and under.

Kids in the community are invited to be the first to try specially selected educational, imaginative and fun apps including: VeggieTales, Crayola Digitools, Math Bingo, Minecraft, Toca Hair Salon and many more!

Stratford Public Library intends to provide a helpful, comprehensive and safe resource for children who are accessing new technology.

The new iPads will join the library’s new homework computer and our recently added bilingual early literacy computer stations.
