Stewart Jeffray, age 96, of Stratford passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton on Saturday, February 8, 2014.
Born in Wroxeter, son of the late Richard Jeffray and the former Jenny Stewart. Stewart was a member of St. John’s United Church, the Royal Canadian Legion and the Muni.
Predeceased by his wife Eileen in 2005. Loving father of Paul Jeffray and wife Barbara of Dundas, Anne Robertson and husband David of London and Lynn Toplitsky and husband Jeff of Lefroy.
Cherished grandfather of Christy Jeffray and Laurie Perrett of Burlington, Suzi Robertson of Bright’s Grove, Tan Thistlethwaite of Orillia, Griffin and Bea Toplitsky of Lefroy.
Treasured grandfather of Ashley and Julia Perrett, Jack, Cole and Reagan Thistlewaite, and Jake and Meaghan Peters. Cremation has taken place.  A family graveside service will be held at a later date at St. James Anglican Church, God’s Holy Acre.
