LCFC to host movie night Thursday

The Local Community Food Centre will host another social justice themed movie night tomorrow.

‘Milk’, the film about the life of gay-rights activist pioneer Harvey Milk will be screened at 7:00pm.

The event was organized by the food centre’s social justice committee EPIC and it’s set against the backdrop of the winter games in Sochi.

Russia’s anti-gay laws stirred up controversy in the lead up to the Olympics and led to calls for a boycott.

A discussion will follow the movie.

All are welcome to attend.

For more information, go to the EPIC Facebook event page.
