Stratford-Perth YMCA CEO discusses Shakespeare ELDC closure

The YMCA’s Early Learning and Development Centre in Shakespeare is closing down.

In a release yesterday the YMCA said a reduced demand for the service due to Full Day Learning at schools is the reason behind the closure.

Mimi Price is the CEO of the Stratford-Perth YMCA.

She says there’s another reason the need for such services is declining:

Price adds that it’s a good thing they were able to provide the service as long as it was needed:

The Early Learning and Development Centre shuts down on June 27th.
