Arrests made in Woodstock fire

Police have made four arrests connected to a fire last week in Woodstock.

Emergency workers responded to the residential blaze at 598 Alberta Avenue last Friday.

Four people inside the home were taken to hospital and treated for injuries.

The following day the Fire Marshal’s Office investigated along with the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Woodstock police.

As a result, four people ranging in age from 23 to 44 face drug, arson, theft and mischief charges.

They were arrested yesterday.
