Stratford News PDHU urging women to re-evaluate drinking habits SHARE ON: Patrick Grapes, contributor, Thursday, Feb. 13th, 2014 If you’re a woman the Perth District Health Unit wants you to “Rethink Your Drinking”. The agency says nearly 25% of Perth County women drink too much alcohol. The PDHU says women are also more susceptible to the effects of alcohol than men. Rethink Your Drinking is a new campaign aimed at promoting the Canadian Low-Risk Alcohol Drinking Guidelines in Perth and Huron Counties. Those guidelines include no more than 10 standard drinks a week for women and nor more than 15 for men. You can find more information by visiting www.rethinkyourdrinking.ca.
