Swan Parade set to be bigger than ever this year

A beloved Stratford tradition is getting an upgrade this year.

The Stratford Tourism Alliance is partnering with the Civic Beautification, Environmental Awareness and City Centre Committees to turn the Swan Parade into a full weekend of fun.

The organizations plan to offer a wider range of activities and food along Lakeside Drive on top of the annual Swan Quest and free horse-drawn carriage rides, a swan photo display, street entertainers, dance performances and photos with BJ the Swan.

This year’s parade will also honour the late Ted Blowes.

The festivities begin on April 5th with the parade itself set for April 6th from noon to 3:00 p.m.
