Two suspicious men arrested in Mitchell

A call about a pair of suspicious men in Mitchell led to their arrest.

The Perth County OPP says officers responded to the complaint on Quebec Street around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

Officers found some stolen property on the men.

A 22-year-old from North Perth faces eight charges, including two counts of theft under $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

A 24-year-old from West Perth has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a probation order.

Both men appeared in Stratford Bail Court today and both are set to appear in court in Stratford again on March 3rd.
