GRCA looking for ‘Watershed Heroes’

The Grand River Conservation Authority wants to honour all ‘watershed heroes’.

It needs the public’s help to find them.

The GRCA is searching for nominations for its annual Watershed Awards.

This year there’s a special one-time category to mark an important milestone.

The Grand River system was designated a Canadian Heritage River 20 years ago.

There are three nomination categories; the Honour Roll Awards, Watershed Awards and the Special Heritage awards.

The deadline to nominate someone is May 1st.

You can find out more information by visiting the GRCA website.
