Stratford Police find new drug, charge two in bust

Two men are facing charges after a drug bust by the Stratford Police.

On Tuesday officers seized more than $1500 in drugs like meth, cocaine, marijuana, and prescription medication.

They also seized a relatively new drug called “Shatter”.

Police say Shatter is a dangerous product made by chemically extracting the THC found in marijuana plants.

The two accused, who are both in their 40’s, have been hit with a long list of drug charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The Stratford Police Service is aware of “Shatter”, the dangers associated with it, and wants the community of Stratford to also be aware of the dangers.

If anyone comes across this type of drug, or any drug, you’re asked to call the Stratford Police Service at 519-271-4143 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
